About Us
29 years of building business software. 19 years in the Odoo ecosystem. One clear mission: freedom and reliability for every client.
Our team has undergone several transformations, but overall we have been serving our clients for more than 29 years. Of that time, we have been working with Odoo (and its predecessors, TinyERP and OpenERP) for over 19 years, and between 2018 and 2025 we were an official Odoo Partner.
From 2025 we decided to fork Odoo Community Edition into eYssen and eYssen Cloud. The reason behind this step is the continuously changing Odoo business model, which increasingly pushes customers toward the Enterprise Edition and SaaS model, while limiting the freedom of Community users and partners. Many features that were once available in Community are gradually being moved to Enterprise, licensing conditions are becoming more restrictive, and the official SaaS approach leaves less flexibility for partners to operate their own services.
What once started as Fabien Pinckaers' vision of a truly open, partner-driven ecosystem, empowering businesses with freedom and flexibility, has gradually shifted into a closed, vendor-centric SaaS company. Odoo has grown into a global success story, but in the process it has moved further away from its original open-source philosophy. eYssen continues along the path of that earlier vision: openness, independence, and long-term trust for customers and partners.
In developing the eYssen version, we made sure to include the key additional features of Odoo Enterprise, while also integrating most of the developments we have created over the past 19 years (excluding unique or highly specific client requests). It also provides Hungarian invoicing and accounting features. Overall, it covers the majority of customer needs we have encountered so far, but approaches most requirements in a much more practical way.
We have clients across several European countries, as well as in Australia, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates.
What happened with us?
The Beginning
Some of our team members have been working together since 1997, providing companies with comprehensive IT support — from managing computer networks, servers, and workstations to software development and end-user support.
In the early days, we worked in banking IT (Budapest Bank Rt.) and later in technical support for an Internet service provider (ELENDER Informatikai Rt.).
IBM B2B
Our team took part in the implementation, operation, and continuous development of one of IBM's largest European projects for nine years. This was Hungary's and Eastern Europe's first true B2B IT system, built on IBM WebSphere technology.
MLM Systems
Since 2002, we have been developing and operating accounting systems for MLM companies. We have worked on the systems of more than 20 MLM companies — from small-scale consulting all the way to designing and implementing complete end-to-end solutions.
Odoo - OpenERP
Since 2007, we have been developing custom applications based on Odoo. From commercial (B2B, B2C) sectors and general enterprise management processes to healthcare software solutions, we have delivered complete applications across a wide spectrum — all built on Odoo (and its predecessors: TinyERP and OpenERP).
SUPPORT24
In 2015, we participated in the creation of SUPPORT24. In 2016, our team fully took over its operation, and by 2017 both the brand and the know-how became our property.
eYssen IT Services
From 2017, we continued our services under the name eYssen IT Services, with several strategic partners, focusing primarily on Odoo.
Odoo Official Partnership
Our team became an official Odoo Ready Partner.
Odoo Silver Partner
Our team achieved the Odoo Silver Partner status.
Odoo 100!
We reached our 100th successful Odoo implementation (including TinyERP, OpenERP, Odoo Community, and Odoo Enterprise).
eYssen & eYssen Cloud
We launched our own Odoo-based ERP system and cloud server environment, designed and developed based on 18 years of Odoo experience and client requirements.
